Description

The Airpower Foundation is a Fort Worth, Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to honoring, supporting, and empowering active-duty service members, Reserve and National Guard members, veterans, and their families. Through programs, community partnerships, education, and direct support, the Foundation works to address the unique challenges military-connected individuals and families face.

The Airpower Foundation supports a wide range of initiatives, including assistance for wounded, ill, and injured service members, children and families of fallen military heroes, scholarships, adaptive devices, counseling and sports therapy programs, suicide awareness, military relief and assistance funds, morale and welfare programs, and veteran-focused initiatives.

The Foundation has also expanded its impact through three programs focused on helping veterans thrive beyond their military service:

Service Dog Program: Connects eligible veterans with highly trained service dogs to provide companionship, greater independence, and assistance with physical and emotional challenges.

Equine Therapy Program: Provides veterans opportunities to work with horses in a supportive environment, promoting emotional wellness, confidence, healing, and personal growth.

Veteran Workforce Development Program: Helps veterans navigate the transition into civilian careers through professional development, workforce readiness resources, networking, mentorship, and career support.

Beyond these programs, the Airpower Foundation is deeply involved in education outreach and community engagement, helping bridge the military-civilian divide by sharing veterans’ stories and creating opportunities for communities, businesses, and military families to connect. Through partnerships, grants, military appreciation events, and initiatives such as Sky Ball, the Foundation continues to build a strong network of support around those who serve and the families who serve alongside them.
