The internet is an amazing place to connect with others. But, as we become more connected, we also become more vulnerable — especially to online fraud. Claiming to be a first responder, military, nurse, medical provider or teacher immediately gives you a level of attention and sympathy. As a result, many of the campaigns seen on large crowdfunding sites are actually scams. At Fund the First, we’ve developed the only platform that combats fraud while providing those who serve with a trusted place to get the support they deserve.
Our Mission
Those who serve our communities experience illnesses, surgeries and other catastrophic losses more often than other occupations. We founded Fund the First to empower our first responder, military, nurse, medical provider and teacher communities with financial resources in times of need. Fallen First Reserve is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It is a special fund that helps pay financial expenses related to the passing of a first responder. Your donation helps honor the heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep the public safe. Our goal is to provide financial support in the amount of $5,000 immediately upon the passing of a First Responder or Military.
