Charles and Sophal Pettit, owners of CSP Financial Group, have two very different life stories that lead to the same outcome: a deep appreciation for their country and the unwavering motivation to help others find their life purpose.
Together, they’ve been growing CSP Financial Group since 1996. The two met at a financial conference where they bonded over their love for, well, bonds. They were destined to be a powerful couple – with their mutual interest in entrepreneurship and determination to succeed.
The American Dream is the idea that anyone can create the life they love through hard work, sacrifice, and taking calculated risks. Some might say that the American dream is dead, but Charles and Sophal are proving every day just how untrue that statement is.
Their American Dream
Charles served in the Persian Gulf War under Operation Desert Storm and also served in the civil war in Somalia. His world experience gave him a whole new appreciation for the United States, the government, lifestyles, and freedoms that we all enjoy today.
Sophal was born in Takeo, Cambodia, and arrived in the United States at the age of 14 as a refugee. She witnessed the worst side of humankind and after encountering such horrors, any adversity experienced while living in America seemed insignificant. She wrote a book about her life called, From Hell to Heaven: From Surviving the Killing Fields of Cambodia to the Beatitudes of Living in Gratitude. Once you know what she’s been through, you’ll understand why our country is truly remarkable.
They are living the American dream. Coming from different backgrounds, they’ve both worked hard to get to where they’re at today and they aren’t stopping anytime soon. They are using their decades of knowledge and experience and applying it to the lives of hundreds of families, with the sole purpose of helping everyone create the life they love.
